Probably because I'm so nosy I enjoyed seeing your pictures and hearing about your ordinary daily life. :) Your nest of comfort and joy looks awesome...and great idea about the dual remote controls. I may have to do the same thing!

Despite the huge number of bugs in Florida, we don't have much of a fly problem in our house, but that's probably because it is so rare that we can have the doors and windows open because of the humidity. We also have a screened lanai, and that cuts down on the bugs that make it into the house. Now you know more than you ever wanted to about flies in Florida!Kathy A. What a waste of money!

Lisa - I like these kind too, and so does my BFF Nancy. It is like getting back to my roots. I wish my dogs did that; my other dogs always did.

Deb - Ha! I can truly see you doing that, cuz that is what I do too. Thanks so much for stopping by.

KathyOregon Gifts of Comfort and Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171271956883698673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4834267977604421778.post-34762088889982883882011-10-13T17:38:59.138-07:002011-10-13T17:38:59.138-07:00Ohhh, those flies. The kids think it's hilarious that I go so crazy about a fly, but I can't help myself! I just the swatter out and I never see it again, though, but I get tired of standing in the kitchen with a swatter in one hand!

Fun post...and beautiful roses!Deb from WhatsInMyAttichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11126246734744950335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4834267977604421778.post-63283839636982419952011-10-13T17:04:37.043-07:002011-10-13T17:04:37.043-07:00I love your posts like this, nice and chatty! You ...I love your posts like this, nice and chatty! You look comfy in your nest, and the separate remotes was a stroke of genius. :) As to the flies, well, as icky as it sounds, my dogs like to snap at them and if they catch one it turns into a protein snack for them. The ones that work the best smell awful but that defeats the purpose and I always felt it brought more around than it killed.
I think your pink weapon is the best.
Roses are still looking great.Arkansas Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156004753267665579noreply@blogger.com
