Well, now that Anderson Cooper is back in the saddle, CNN is looking a bit better in my eyes ... but that first night wasn't good.

Hi Lynn,

Thank you! I wish that you would have seen it before, though, cuz it may have helped. It sounds as if they are very unorganized in Joplin; it is a wonderful thing that those FB peeps started their own blogs so quickly. Missouri is reminding me of New Orleans after Katrina though, government wise. So sad.Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07171271956883698673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4834267977604421778.post-63724719049797313772011-05-26T07:37:23.236-07:002011-05-26T07:37:23.236-07:00Wow Kathy, so much info - I'm sorry that I did...Wow Kathy, so much info - I'm sorry that I didn't get around here before now! I was so wrapped up in finding my friend, that, well, my brain wasn't working the way it needed. Thanks so much for all you did, and your kind friendship, xxoLynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05296300032567383021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4834267977604421778.post-47911253207945429992011-05-24T06:05:45.415-07:002011-05-24T06:05:45.415-07:00Don't get me started on CNN!!! It seems that so much is money-orientated these days and the 'big whigs' of the media thinks that people want to know about mundane and useless things. Oh boy, oh boy----------I'll stop right now.

The tornado was most certainly devastating. The thing is, it was way too close to home [my daughter lives in Missouri]...and she has called me many-a-times this past Spring informing me of threats of the disastrous storms heading her way. For her, luckily, this was not in her area but west of her home.

Tragic.Hootin Annihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08811326085498312568noreply@blogger.com
