Babysitting the potted plants ...

Well, it is that time of year again.  Winter and the holidays.  Dad and Jill are preparing for their snowbird adventure, and and asked if I could look after their houseplants.  I had a nice visit with them yesterday when I went over to pick up my new responsibilities.

Returning home, I had to figure out an appropriate place to place them.  It had to be where there was light and where I would see them frequently, so I wouldn't forget to water them.  I decided on the windowsill above the kitchen sink.  That led to another cleaning project. That window really needed some help in that area.  I have been thinking that Shanna has been wondering for a long time when I would finally get around to it.  So, here is picture of that job well done.

The real snow is supposed to hit this afternoon.  The wind is blowing the storm in, and we may have 6" of the stuff by morning.  Bring it on!
