Melanie: I've Got a Brand New Pair of Roller Skates

Do you remember that 70's song, I've Got a Brand New Pair of Roller Skates, by Melanie?  I've been thinking about it lately, and found this cute video on You Tube that a high school girl made for her school project way back when.  It is pretty funny.  And the boy is hot.  And the girl skates as about as well as I did.

    Cute video. She was ahead of her time! MTV started the music video craze but not until the 80's. I haven't thought about that song in years (decades, if I'm honest) but I still remembered all the words!
