Beer Church?

Source:  Bing Images

I want so say right off, that I don't want to offend anybody on here.   It is just that we really were invited to attend Beer Church yesterday, by Eric, who is apparently one of the co-founders.  Each Sunday at 3:00 he and his friends hold Beer Church over by the Les Schwab Amphitheater.

We parked our car and walked a mile or so in 90* weather trying to find it, but we couldn't.  I took lots of pictures of other things though, and we took in a free concert of blues music.  We had a lot of fun yesterday.  St. Charles sponsors free concerts on Sunday afternoons, by the way, if you are looking for something to do.

Maybe we will check out Beer Church at a later date, when we get better directions on how to actually get there.  I think Beer Church would make a great blog story, no matter what.  I love being a reporter.

  2. Eric said that this is what they do:

    *Drink beer
*No pants are allowed (skirts and shorts and swimsuits are)
*They have a short positive sermon
*They read all of the horoscopes
*They write out their confessions for the week on slips of paper and put them in a hat and they are drawn out and read out loud
*Then they have baptisms in the river

    Sounds like fun to me!

It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post.
