Yesterday morning we drove in to Bend, had breakfast at Corey's, and attended the 2010 Summer Festival. This post includes some of the people that we met there.

Meet Albert and Nancy Roberts. They own Alrona Pizza and live in La Pine. Nancy's son, John Blaylock, is a friend of ours. John helped them build their brick-oven-on-a-trailer, which they take to festivals around the Northwest.

Albert not only makes great pizza, he creates remarkable trailers. He is the designer of their pizza oven. It is really something to see!

Heather works hard on Cary's back as
her little girl makes a silly face in the background.
Thank you, Heather!

We were talking to the guy who was working this booth when we were eating breakfast at Corey's. His daughter and son-in-law own the booth. I didn't catch his name, but he is a very interesting man. He used to restore old English automobiles, manufacturing parts as needed. He has a prototype for some really cool bicycles, and I don't doubt for a minute that we will be seeing them on the road someday soon.
