Welcome to the online diary of a Central Oregon Grandmother (me) who is busy celebrating the positive portions of her everyday life ... along with her best friend husband (Cary). It is quite an eclectic diary and I try to do my best to incorporate a little bit of history into many of my posts. Your visit to our piece of American Pie is greatly appreciated. This chatty Kathy posts frequently, so coming back to visit often is highly encouraged.

Our Dear Deer:
Here she is, our little friend. This morning Cary put fresh peanuts, corn and birdseed into the planter and fresh water into the birdbath. About 15 minutes ago, he called to me, saying, "Bring the camera!". I took the first two photos from the porch, zooming in. There was a lot of sunlight and that is where the rainbows came from on photo #2. Then I handed the camera to Cary, and he walked toward her and took the rest of them. How neat!

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.

ReplyDeleteAwwwww, so sweet. How wonderful you and Cary are to all the living creatures!
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, it really is fun to watch them. It's nice to be nice sometimes. :>)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I'm sure she appreciated your hospitality. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI know lots of folks who would like to turn your four legged friend into steaks. Not me. The only way I can ever shoot anything is with a camera. She looks to be a gentle spirit.
ReplyDeleteYep, we have a lot of hunters in Mayberry too.
