Books and Charities: "From the Heart"

My friend Lisa Ricard Claro from the blog Writing in the Buff is a published author in a new book titled, "From the Heart""From the Heart" is an anthology about parenting. It is part of a writing for charity project where all proceeds from book sales are donated to children's charities.  Lisa's most recent blog post is an interview that explains the whole thing.  There is a special early release of the book right now, and it costs $25.00 plus $3.50 S&H.  I bought a copy this morning, and am looking forward to reading it soon.

What an easy and rewarding way to donate to charity!  Thank you, Lisa and your co-contributors for working so hard on this.  To learn more about buying your own copy of "From the Heart", check out Lisa's blog or the Write for Charity Website.

  4. Oh, Kathy...and you, too, Lisa...I'd already forgotten about this book. Gosh, I really am beginning to worry about my short term memory. I've got to start writing more notes, I guess! Congrats again Lisa, and good for you, Kathy for posting this!

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.
