Welcome to the online diary of a Central Oregon Grandmother (me) who is busy celebrating the positive portions of her everyday life ... along with her best friend husband (Cary). It is quite an eclectic diary and I try to do my best to incorporate a little bit of history into many of my posts. Your visit to our piece of American Pie is greatly appreciated. This chatty Kathy posts frequently, so coming back to visit often is highly encouraged.

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.
Very pretty! I love those trees in the urns!

Hi Manuela, thank you so much! I think that I got those trees at Ross or Bi-Mart ... someplace that didn't cost too much.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Kathy
What fun you must have decorating your home. So colorful. Love the Santa screen and christmas balls. Have a happy holiday
ReplyDeleteI'm just opening up a box full of snowmen. Your post is an inspiration for using them. Love your whole display.
ReplyDeleteThank you, ladies!
ReplyDeleteAll your Christmas balls are absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's not EZ to decorate, huh? I done mine but riffed off again coz, I think it wasn't good enough. Now, it's still naked, until the week-end.
TY for sharing your inspiration that I will bring into my home.
Happy TS...

When I look at the photos of your decor I can smell Christmas! Does that make sense? The scent of pine trees and cinnamon a fire burning in the fireplace. Mmmm....now I REALLY have to pull out my Christmas stuff!
ReplyDeleteHi Chie,
ReplyDeleteI know, it takes a lot of planning and you have to be in the mood. I like it how it is now. Next is the tree.
Hi Lisa,
I am glad that is what the photos evoke, but, lol, we have no woodstove or fireplace, and I had to give up on real trees 4 years ago. They just got too dry. Maybe I should just simmer up some mulling spices? I hope we get a woodstove some day.
Glad it helped to motivate you!
Kathy
