A Bit of ME Nestled Among Some Chickens:

On Saturday, I took the Christmas decorations out of the living room and re-did the hutch and the table.

My favorite part is the view of the snow
covered trees through the blinds.

That was fun.  I think I am almost done with decorating for awhile.  I need to do some deep cleaning, organizing and some painting now.  I want to work on my writing and figuring out how to sell my handcrafted products.  Any ideas on that last one?  How many of you have good luck with Etsy or Indi Fixx or other online stores?  Any tips?

Thanks!

Kathy

  1. I do love your hutch. You did such a great job laying everything out. I love how you stacked the ME books and used linens and your cute mugs. Lots of ideas here. You were right!I'll hang on to ME calendars and come up with something like this. I will keep in mind how time does fly-gotta keep busy, right?

  5. Lovely, as always. You have such a "signature look"! I wish I had the decorating knack, but I really don't. You sure know how to put it all together. And I love the ME! My fave is "bloom where you're planted." A good sentiment!

  7. Leslie, I thought that you would enjoy it! Thanks so much. I just layer stuff. And, your boy will be back home before you know it.

Marty, I really appreciate your thoughtful comments. I know that you see a lot of beautiful vignettes since you are the hostess, and the nice things you say mean a lot to me.

Janel, thank you so much. Happy New Year to you too!

SJ, thanks! My friend April and her daughter Tatum are really helping me with my chicken collection.

Lisa, I wish I was there. I would help you! I am thinking about starting a business that involves professional organizing and room redeuxs. I don't know how to offer suggestions online, because I feel like I need to be in somebody's house to see where I can switch things from one room to another.

Donnie, thank you so much for stopping by to say hello. I'm headed over to your blog in just a minute.

Hey, you guys, thanks for all of your wonderful comments.
