I took these photos in 2006, in La Pine, Oregon.  This first part is when the snowstorm was rolling in:

  1. New snow and blue sky--makes for a beautiful world. Very pretty. I have to tell you of the weather here in Kansas--one week ago it was -16 --a record low, today it was 75 --a record high--ya gotta love Kansas. Take care. Mickie

  3. For all that we love blue skies, somtimes a huge slab of grey can be so much more dramatic.

As you can tell I think I like the "befores" more than the "afters"!

  6. Hi Everybody, thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments. Now I am off to visit you. Donnie, I really liked the moon photos too. I took these last night, but I have a bunch more that I have taken over the past couple of years. Maybe I'll make a slideshow out of them sometime soon.

  7. You did a marvelous job capturing so many pretty winter scenes. I like them better the next day, when things where brighter. Job well done.

  8. Wow! Those were really dramatic captures of the snow storm! It looked like it should have dumped two feet or more of snow.
