Vintage Bread Box and Copper Canisters:

Hello friends!  Here it is, the beginning of a brand new week.  I has to be better than last week, it just has to be.  To get our minds off of worldly affairs, I thought that I would gather up some neat old vintage stuff and top them off with a touch of cheerful Mary Engelbreit.

I bought the bread box years ago at a garage sale, and have been using it ever since.  I found the copper canisters at Goodwill in Eugene around the same time, and they have been in my kitchen ever since.  The vintage fabric and I were reunited a couple of months ago when we took the t.v. off of Grandma J.'s trunk and there it was.  Yay!  The rest of the things you will recognize, if it isn't your first time here ... but I hope you still enjoy them in their new layout.

I am participating in several linky parties on this post, and you can find them at the end.  One of them is Metamorphisis Monday, so I am going to show you a couple of ways that I have used this table in our living room before.  I know that it isn't Tablescape Thursday, but this post has just kept evolving!  (I started out with the intention of showing you the blue breadbox for Blue Monday.  You just never know what is going to happen when you start one of these things.)

Today, I decided to haul out things that are usually on my kitchen counter, just to make prettier pictures for you to enjoy.  This is what the table looks like for now:
