Paulina Creek Falls is the first stop after you pay your entrance fee at the booth to go inside the Newberry Crater Caldera area. Lucky for us, this joint is only about a 20 minute drive up the hill from our house. Where we live, it is easy to take lots of pretty pictures. It is also easy to drive past the driveway to the falls parking lot, which is on your left before you get to the Paulina Lodge driveway. We took these photos last spring, when the snow had melted enough for us to go in. For more info on these falls, please click here: USFS Website on Paulina Creek Falls.

Kathy - That first photo literally took my breath away. So beautiful! I've saved it to my computer for future use (for Book Blurb Friday). If the state of Oregon isn't paying you yet, they ought to. You do more on your blog to promote the beauty of the Pacific Northwest than anything else I've seen. Wow.
