Myrtle and Ed

Sitting under the umbrella
In hot pools and sunshine,
Playing the age-old game of
You show me yours, and I'll show you mine ...

Appreciating that soaking in hot springs
Was the ultimate fine;
Wishing they'd begun it long ago,
If they'd only had the time.

Their wrinkles and sags
Mattered to them not one bit;
They were old, they were brave;
And they didn't give a sh**!

Today is the fourteenth day of the A - Z Challenge, which is hosted by  Arlee Bird's: Tossing It Out.   Several of my blogging friends are participating, and this year there are over 1,200 participants. We post everyday, except for Sundays, and work our way through the alphabet. I am posting past photos that I have taken, and am linking them up to the posts where the photos originated from too. When you are all done here at Oregon Gifts,  please click here to visit the other bloggers who are participating in this challenge.

If you miss a day, you miss a lot!  Don't miss out on the news ... Please click here to go to my home page and see what is happening in Mayberry today.

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.
