Watery Wednesday: Summer Storm, Cultus Lake Scuba Divers and Crane Prairie Water Falls

Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joy ~ Kathy Matthews

It has been a wet week!  On Friday, we had a thunder and lightening storm that gave us nearly 2" of rain during it's two hour show.

On Saturday, Cary and I took a drive along the Cascade Lakes Highway.  I swear, Central Oregon must be the "other" land of lakes.  One place we went to was the back dam at Crane Prairie Reservoir.   I spotted these beautiful rapids on the way to Brown's Mountain Boat Landing:

After leaving there, we explored Little Cultus Lake and Cultus Lake.  Though I'll be doing separate posts on those lakes soon, I wanted to show you the scuba divers at Cultus Lake. They were near shore, and it made me wonder if they were going through a practice or the certification process.

  2. Hi Kathy, I'm stopping by to say hello on a Watery Wednesday tour. It's been awhile since I've visited and I'm happy I did because I'm loving your water photos! I talked to my sister last night who lives in Mill City and she said it's been cool and a bit rainy out there. I hope you're having a joyful week!
