SkyWatch Friday: Paulina Peak Clouds and Mt. Bachelor Snow

This morning we went up the hill behind us to bring our travel trailer back home.  (To read more about Tuesday's mini-adventure on getting it set up, please "CLICK HERE").   I couldn't help but notice this cool looking wall of clouds hanging out right where we were headed, and took the next seven pictures of them from our work:

If that cloud bank wasn't there, you would be able to see Paulina Peak from our gravel pit.

On the way up to where the trailer was, it was fun to catch the very first snowfall of the season on camera:

I was pretty excited to get these pictures of Mt. Bachelor at the nine mile marker on the way back down the hill.  Mt. Bachelor is the one with the snow on it.  It is just one of the highest peaks of the long Cascade Mountain Range.

  2. Sigh, reminds me so much of my younger days as we lived in Oregon, or traveled to and fro visiting relatives now no longer living. Such beautiful scenery captured in the right lighting, evoking so many memories.

    Thanks Kathy.
