Winter on the North Fork of the Willamette: Oakridge, Oregon Rest Area

Last Friday, the day prior to Christmas Eve, we were headed to Eugene.  Stopping at one of our regular stops, the rest area south of Oakridge, I walked to the boat ramp and snapped a few pictures of the silver frost.  Here they are:

  1. Oh, what gorgeous shots--I love rivers in winter. I always love rivers, but the beauty and danger of the fast moving, freezing cold... but that frost--just gorgeous!

  2. Just by the look I could tell it's very cold. My fave is the last photo. Happy New Year Kathy and to your wonderful hubby and family. ^_^
