Mother's Day 2012:

So, as I mentioned before, I drove to Eugene yesterday to have lunch with my side of the family.  My son Nigel was missing (but he called from out of town full of wishes).  A few others were not able to come, but we had a great turnout and lots of fun!

This is my middle kiddo, Kristin:

My sister Julie gave Mom sunglasses that resembled what Mom's mom, Grandma T. used to wear.  Mom refused to take the tag off:

On Mother's Day Eve, we had a nice dinner at our house with Cary's mom, his brother and his girlfriend and her son.  I only got some before pictures of the table setting though:

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend, whether you celebrated Mother's Day or not!

  2. It sounds like you had a fabulous Mother's Day. You are fortunate to have been able to have spent it with both your mom and your kids. That is just great.

  3. Sounds like you had a wonderful Mother's Day. And happy belated Mother's Day, I thought about you yesterday as we gave my mother plants for her garden. My new place also has a huge garden potential and I now live near a small lake with a wooded path around the entire thing. I keep thinking you would take fantastic pictures of this place. ;)

Thank you for always leaving such wonderful comments. They brighten my day. Hugs!

  7. Thank you, everybody. Wendy, we actually had the Saturday dinner at our house, and I went back and clarified it, thank you. It is funny what leaving out one little word can do!
