A Place of Beauty:

Sally and Maria

Last Saturday, we all gathered at my Aunt Mardy and Uncle Frank's for a family reunion, near Sutherlin, Oregon.  We were celebrating what would have been my Grandmother Florence Hedrick Traylor's 100th birthday.  Her husband, Floyd Albert Traylor and my other grandfather, John Delmar Johnson, would have also been 100 years old this year if they were still alive.

Aunt Mardy has worked so hard all season long to get her garden and grounds just the way that she wanted them for the party.  I wanted to share with you guys just how beautiful everything looked that day.

  1. Everything really does look beautiful. I bet you had an awesome time. I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to stop by. I hope you are well.

  2. I so envy folks who have the vision to create beautiful outdoor spaces. I try, but I'm not very good at it. As usual, you've captured the beauty through your wonderful photos.

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post.
