Welcome to the online diary of a Central Oregon Grandmother (me) who is busy celebrating the positive portions of her everyday life ... along with her best friend husband (Cary). It is quite an eclectic diary and I try to do my best to incorporate a little bit of history into many of my posts. Your visit to our piece of American Pie is greatly appreciated. This chatty Kathy posts frequently, so coming back to visit often is highly encouraged.

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.
I started the sewing project today that I had been avoiding. Now I'm into it. The job is turning to joy.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job--I mean joy!~ As least so many of the jobs this time of year are fun!
ReplyDeleteMy friend Lynn from Present Letters wrote the comment below. It shows up under my comments folder, but I don't know why it won't show up here:
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Kathy! Looks like you had lots of good things to eat on Thanksgiving. And I love the idea with the baseball card binder things. Another project for me!

Kathy, I'm fine, just way BEHIND on visiting other bloggers. I hope we can all have a Holiday Season filled with JOY and not let all the JOBS that need to be done spoil it. I'm sure you too are busy, busy, busy. Take time to enjoy all the festive activities that make Christmas so special. Hugs. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteJoy --> Job. You are so funny!
ReplyDeleteI just sent two messages to people I know will pray for me. I feel overwhelmed by the writing I must finish before the end of the week along with other to-dos. I was look at them as job--now I'm going to begin working and look at it as JOY! Thank you, sweet friend, for posting a message from Jesus--just for me!
