An Afternoon in Bend:

These are the other pictures that we took as we walked around downtown Bend yesterday (non-festival pictures). It was cold, but we enjoyed ourselves. I am especially happy that I took pictures of all the flowers, because they are covered in snow now, and have probably had it for the season.

This was the first installment of my birthday week, staying overnight in Bend with my sweetie on a quick trip away from home. We stayed at the Phoenix Inn, and I have to say I think it was a good pick. We tried McMenamins first, but they were full. I thought The Phoenix Inn was a good value for all that we got, and it was only a block from downtown (right behind McMenamins actually). The room was spacious and we got a balcony and a nice leather couch. The free breakfast was good. I'd stay there again for sure.

This is his "okay, that is enough picture
taking of me right now" look.

Thanks, Cary for the fun time. Love you, BFH!
