My Prom Picture:


Here I am, already to go to the prom in 1976.  My Grandma J. made my dress for me.  My friend Cyndee had just returned from Hawaii, and brought me back a lei of plumeria to wear.  It smelled so good!  It was my first prom, and I was kind of surprised to learn that it was really just a dance, but I had fun.  (That is mostly a big shadow on my hair; I wasn't into country and western back then!)

    Lovely! Your dress looks similar to the one I wore to my junior prom. Brings back a lot of memories...

    Hi Lisa, thank you. Those were the glory days, weren't they? I like all the things that I have learned since then, but sure looked prettier then.
