Friday's Photo Trip #1: Fall River Campground With Kylie

It was another beautiful day in the neighborhood yesterday, and Kylie and I hopped in the car and went on a drive, with the intent of taking lots of pictures on our mind.  I had my big camera, she had my little camera, and our first stop was Fall River Campground off of South Century Drive not far from Sunriver.  We parked on the road and walked down the driveway on the slippery snow to get to the river.

We took so many pictures, that I have decided to make them into a slide show.  It will be at the top of the home page for awhile, and then will be moved to my Slide Show blog (found on the sidebar).

After we left here, we went to the Fall River Fish Hatchery, drove the back way to Sunriver, stopped at the second hand store and bought some books and a few other treasures, drove around Sunriver and then came home.  What a great day yesterday was!

  1. Awesome picts by Kylie and you Kathy. Kylie is quite the photographer. She has a natural eye I think for framing, and what would make an interesting picture to others. Beautiful shots! Looks like you had fun.....

  3. Snow or no snow, those woods look so peaceful and inviting.

    IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

    If you see a shadow
    And want to keep it near,
    Point your trusty shooter
    (Make sure the lens is clear);
    Press with care the shutter,
    Do not slam or sock it—
    Then you’ll have a photo
    To carry in your pocket!

  4. MMT - That is a great poem, it made me laugh! "Do not slam or sock it"; what a cool choice of words. Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello.
