When I get my kitchen really clean, (and hopefully painted) I'm going to take some good pictures of it. It sports a lot of red. For today, I wanted to show you just a teaser:
I bought these cheery cherry cross-stitches at the discount store for cheap a few years back.
My sister Julie made these magnets around 10 years ago,
and gave them to me for Christmas.
More Red:
I was looking through old photos yesterday, and found this one of my cousin Kristi and myself, taken some time in the mid 1980's. I was working for an insurance company back then, and I thought that hat was so cool! Anyway, today is Kristi's birthday, and I wanted to wish her a very happy year with many more to come.
Like my red hat?
Kristi, Me, and Kari last May, at her parent's 50th Anniversary Party ... around 25 years after the other photo. We've all filled out in the meantime. Or, maybe it is just a close-up shot? Either way, we were happy to see each other again.
Happy birthday, Cousin!
Love ya lots,
~ Kathy
I am entering this into Rednesday over at It's A Very Cherry World.
If you enjoy the color red, please check out this fun linky party. There are usually lots of cool vintage red things over there. I think I am beginning to qualify as vintage! Plus, Sue is holding a drawing for some awesome cherry prizes.
Great photos. Happy Birthday Kristi.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ladies with lovely smiles! Happy Wednesday!
