I have shown some of these on my blog before, but I wanted to group several of them all together for today's Shadow Shot Sunday submission. They were all taken right outside our front door, looking through the winter trees.
I like to experiment with my camera settings when taking moon shots. I used my flash on some of them, but not on all of them. The flash only works for the trees anyway, not for the moon. Sometimes I zoomed in on the moon and sometimes I took close ups of the trees. I also used the twilight and the portrait settings, along with the standard setting. It is fun to fool around with the camera and see what you can come up with!

The one shot looks as though the moon is melting
and running in a little rivulet.
A PARFAIT DAY
A seeker of shadows one day
Did trip as she went on her way;
She picked herself up
And dipped from a cup
Of shadowy lemon parfait!
