Happy Mother's Day!

Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joy ~ Kathy Matthews

Hello Friends!

Happy Mother's Day to you and your Moms.

So, what are your plans for today?  Whatever you do, I hope that you have a great day.  I was just watching the news and saw the reporter chest high in flood water in Memphis, Tennessee.  Sorry that you guys are having to go through all of that mess.  It will probably be a Mother's Day that you will never forget, but not in a charming sort of way.

My daughters, Kari and Kristin, and grandson Casey are driving two hours each way just to come to see us and have some dinner.  What sweeties!  Cary gave me flowers and some money, and I think that I will buy a new mouse and a pair of jeans.   Here is a picture of Casey:

Today is our grandson Chase's birthday, and we just want to give this awesome kid a shout-out.  He made two goals in one soccer game earlier this week ... the guy is funny and sweet along with everything else.  Happy Birthday, Chase!  Love you lots and lots.

  5. Good looking boys and happy mother's day to you too. I live in Memphis, and we did get our share of rain that has created quite a flood. Luckily, I do not live close enough to the rivers to have suffered personally, but we see many hardships every night on the news. Thanks for thinking about us.
