Colors and Hand Painted Goblets:

A couple of weeks ago, when we were in Bend for the car show, I took these pictures of a pretty window display and I thought that you guys might enjoy them too:

The colors are cheerful.  I bet those would be fun to make.  Have you used glass paint before?  Is it easy to apply?  I  hand-painted some bottles last year, but I didn't know about glass paint yet.  I'm sure that if mine got wet, the paint would wash right off.  I'm thinking of spraying clear sealant on them to save my efforts though.  What do you think would work?

  1. I didn't know there was glass paint--bet that would be fun to do. I've seen some really cute painted goblets at flea market/antique places. Might be a blast to try sometime.

  2. I so enjoyed these lovlies m'dear!! How colorful, fun, and bright. I've never done anything with glass...well, I'm sure scrubbing doesn't count now, does it? [wink]

If you DO try it, make sure you show us all how it's done...from start to end.

    Have a lovely day.

  4. I know nothing about painting glassware, but the glassware pictured here is very nicely done. The photos are excellent.
