Happy St. Patrick's Day and Funny Pictures:

Well, here it is, St. Patrick's Day ... the day where we risk getting pinched if we don't wear green.  A couple of years ago, my step-girls, Shanna and Cheri (the last two on the right), ran a Shamrock race in Seattle:

They grabbed these boys for a pose:

A couple of a weeks ago, our daughter Kristin was in Guatemala on a medical mission trip.  She said that the soldiers were busy taking pictures of her, so she said she wanted a picture with them.  They said okay, and she said, well, don't I get a gun?  Kristin said that she couldn't believe it when they handed her a loaded one:

Our grandson Casey is all dressed up for his part of a wildlife biologist in Thursday's school play.  He told the audience about sea turtles.  I so wish that we could have been there, but there was another snowstorm on the pass, so instead, we are going to watch the DVD soon:

Shanna's soccer team posed for this picture in the 80's for their coach, and as soon as I saw it on FB, I grabbed it.  (In fact all of these pictures came off of FB, so don't take them, because I am already in enough trouble!)

So, Happy St. Patrick's Day, remember to wear green, and I hope that I made you smile!

  1. LOL! Yes, these photos made me laugh! I can't believe those guys in the green underwear!! Their mothers probably wanted to kill them going out like that! Ha-ha! I hope you are having a GREAT St. Patrick's Day, Kathy!

  2. I wore no green nor tartan to watch the parade yesterday, but I wore an argyle sweater...

You can see my pics of the parade, if you want.

  3. The photos did make me smile! I especially loved the 80s one! I didn't leave the house Saturday, so didn't see or participate in any St. Patrick's Day events--maybe next year!
