Happy Easter, Kathy! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. And aren't these postcards just wonderful? And you know what amazes me? That they were addressed with only your Great Great Grandfather's name, town and state, and they arrived! I wonder how many people lived in his town at that time... and if they had their own post office... Well, there's something for you to find out for your family, Detective Kathy! ;)

I did want to comment on the one about the drop in blog traffic and Pinterest but I read it on my phone and hate writing on the cell! You will have noticed I've totally ignored my blog for months. It takes too much time - time that I now waste on Pinterest! Oh yes, I'm one of those people... I hope you and your family are well. Take care!

ReplyDeleteWe have old postcards from my husbands family and they are wonderful. His grandmother kept everything! These cards are so lovely.
I grew up in the Willamette Valley and attended school in Molalla. Oregon is definitely in my blood. I'll be adding your blog to my list.
