Now this is cold: -30*. At 7:30 this morning, I looked at our old metal and glass thermometer and it said -30*. I thought, oh, this thing must be wrong, and grabbed my car keys to go outside and see what my mirror said. My poor car didn't want to start, but it did. Good car, thank you. The two matched up!
The severe weather alerts are cautioning about frostbite for exposed skin, and hypothermia, if you are not properly dressed for the weather. I hope that all the homeless were able to find shelter, and that people are taking proper care of their animals.

Your pictures are gorgeous, but oh my goodness!!! Thirty BELOW zero? Yipes. Thirty ABOVE zero is plenty cold for me.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I didn't know it was so cold your way! I can't even imagine how that feels. We have the opposite problem: it's 85 and muggy. It's hard to decorate the house for the holidays when it feels like you should be packing up for the beach! I know lots of people would like to be in our shoes, but after eight months of heat, I'd LOVE some cooler weather.
