During the month of April, I am participating in the Blogging From A-Z April 2012 Challenge, where we post everyday except for Sundays. I have decided to make flashcards for the letter of the day out of my photos, and then use the picture as a writing prompt. I am using my Thesaurus to incorporate as many words beginning with a "J" and still have the story make sense. I never do know how it is going to turn out.
Thank you for your visit, and please come back again tomorrow! I'll be by to visit those who leave me comments, and also visit as many others as I can. If you like what you see, please feel free to become my newest follower. ~ Kathy M.

"Jason Is No Longer A Jailbird"
by Kathy Matthews
Jason was certainly a jim-dandy. A janitor at the aquarium in Jacksonville, he didn't really enjoy his job. He did, however, enjoy the jellyfish; Jillian, the joyous attendant; and John, the joker who frequently got him out of his jams.
It was much better than being in jail, and others did not pass judgement on him for working at the aquarium. After work, Jason enjoyed a jug and a joint, and was thankful to not be jobless.
Sorry this is a short one, but my right shoulder is really sore from putting the tires in the back of the car. And, come to find out, there are not very many "J" words in the Thesaurus. The "J" has been jilted among vocabulary words, it seems.
Following the theme of the of the alphabet, I am also
featuring this out-of-circulation book created by a couple of Oregon ladies in
1983. Please come back tomorrow to see the next page in the series:

I don't mind a short post now and then -- jellyfish creep me out anyway. I hope your shoulder feels normal soon so you can jet back to your jocular jottings.
