This doesn't really have shadows in it, but I really wanted to share it with you, because I like it:

  1. Great pictures, when were you in Wichita? Judging by the man in shorts not recently, ha ha. We actually live next door to Wichita just further west though. I still need to visit the World of Treasures museum though. Lots to do and see here.

  2. It was in September, last fall. That museum is pretty cool. I have a slide show of it on my Slide Shows blog on the side bar, if you want to see more of it. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. Wichita! I haven't been there since I was a kid--about 400 years ago! I'm sure I wouldn't recognize the place these days--but I'd recognize those shadows anywhere! :-)

    SILLY SHADOW DITTY

Shadows may or may not be
    Patterns of urbanity.
    If a shadow threatens you,
Here, my dear, is what to do:
Grab the shadow by the throat,
Toss it to a billy goat,
So the goat can chomp and chew,
    Keeping it away from you!

  8. Sure enough, it's Wichita!! Don't you just love the Museum of World Treasures!! It was started by a retired Doctor who had traveled the world and collected a great many things. I taught his niece in first grade many, many years ago.
