Just A Note #4: Lions Club International Peace Poster Cards

  Artist:   Nita Leger Casey

This is installment #4 of Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joy's weekly art feature.  My MIL gave me a bunch of greeting cards, and I decided to scan them, add a frame then and link them up to the artists websites.  Hope that they bring you a bit of joy today!

This week's featured artists are some of the children who have created the Lions International Peace Poster Contests between 1991 and 2004.  Over 350,000 children submit their artwork annually for the chance to have their artwork chosen.  These cards are used as a fundraiser from Lions Club International.

I am linking this post to Pamela Kuhn's "A Sheltering Tree" weekly blog hop, Share the Shelter.   When you are all through here at Oregon Gifts, please hop on over there to see some lovely and inspirational posts.

  3. The talent of those kids is amazing. But the best has to be that candle of flags. How creative is that!

I sincerely appreciate your comments! If you don't see your comment posted immediately, don't worry. I have comment moderation on here to help filter out spam. It will become visible as soon as I read it, and I do that several times daily. It just seems easier than using the word verification option. I am so sorry, but I am not accepting anonymous comments at this time. You can email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com and I will happily add your comment to this post. Thank you so much! ~ Kathy M.
