great postcards Kathy! I've pinned some on Pinterest, hope you don't mind. Have a good 4th of July!
best,

These postcards capture exactly what I think of when I think of Texas. I'd like to go to Texas one day and see a Blue Bonnet. That's such a cool name for a flower.
These are wonderful! Do you have the originals yourself? I think the grapefruits are my favorite.
Hi Grace, nice to hear from you! Glad that you enjoyed these.
Hey, Wendy! I'm starting to really like Texas. I've been to San Antonio twice and we are planning on visiting Dallas this fall. I'll look for Blue Bonnet stuff for ya.

Those are some classics for sure. Various types of collectors would love to get their hands on those.
I'm kind of new to Sepia Saturday, but really enjoy your posts. This one reminds me of my Mom's collection of post cards from the 30s and maybe before. I'm from Texas, and sent some to friends, or at least saw some, like these as well. I'll try to find out if I still have those post cards somewhere. But not today. (you know how that is, I imagine).
Lovely colours again in these postcards. Now why does the chuck wagon picture remind me of ‘Blazing Saddles’?
Kathy,
what a great collection of postcards.
I remember going to the Alamo once and it's so tiny. It looks gigantic on the postcard.

Fine collection of postcards. My visits to Texas have been confined to (in) airports on my way to Mexico. Doubt I'll make it now.
9 feet 6 inches across the horns of that Long Horn Street! I've never seen a crowd of these creatures but I doubt they have to worry about being squeezed together! Love the cards.
