In February, I created a post called "I Dream of Eugene: A History Lesson on the Sidewalk". It is about the settling of the city of Eugene. Skinner's Butte park had a replica of the Skinner Family's cabin nestled into the park's hillside for years and years. The city eventually moved the cabin to another location in the park to make it more accessible to visitors. I was searching around the internet trying to figure out where the Skinner's actually built their cabin and couldn't find what I was after.
Luckily, I had the information at my fingertips right here in our little home office. I just came across it and scanned it today for those of you who are also wondering. Here is the info:
