Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joy ~ Kathy Matthews |
Last weekend, we were not far from Cougar Reservoir, so we drove the ten miles in from the McKenzie Highway to take a look. This is a beautiful and quiet place to boat and camp. It never seems to be very busy on the lake.
To learn more about Cougar Dam, I did a blog post about it's ins and outs, and you can read more about it by "CLICKING HERE". I love the McKenzie Valley so much that I devoted a whole website to it ... it needs updating, but is still full of info: The McKenzie River Valley of Oregon.
Anyway, we parked at the parking area for Terwilliger Hot Springs and walked down the beautiful trail by the lagoon. This is what I think of when I think of Oregon:

These next three, I am proud to say, are all straight from the camera ... I didn't even have to crop anything out:

Such a beautiful place that Oregon is. Lucky you.
Beautiful photos, Kathy.
I watched your slide show, too. Nice new trailer, and I love your moon-shots.
If you're ever out in an RV park and you run across a BC couple named Clint and Maria Davies, tell them big sister Kay said hi. They have a truck & 5th wheel with, of course, BC plates.
