Vintage San Antonio Postcards (c.1944)

Looking through my treasure trove of "The Letsom Letters",  I came across these vintage postcards of San Antonio.  Except for the very last one, they were all made by the San Antonio Card Co. in San Antonio, Texas.  A bit of research shows that the production dates of these postcards began in 1944.  I don't know if I am right on that though; postcards are not my specialty.  I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!

I love those old postcards. I've tried to collect some from where we live now that were made in that same era. The colors are just so mellow, for lack of a better word.

Kind of sad that those days are almost gone. They were the original "tweet" by condensing a lot into a few words. I still have a friend who enjoys sending them.

Thanks for the nice comments on the wedding--so glad it is over-fun but stressful. Love the old postcards from San Antonio. Gosh, I'd sure like to be strolling down along the River Walk right now! Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
