On Monday, Kody (father to one of our little preschool boys) came to visit with a screech owl from the Sunriver Nature Center.
We all learned about the different species of owls that live in Central Oregon.
We brought the trailer home from the lake on Sunday, and it was good to get back to normal and get the house clean. Here are a few pictures from last week:
I really like the next two pictures; it is like a blurring of dimensions or something:
Julie and Bob came fishing with us on Thursday after work:
On Saturday evening, some of our family came up to see us:
Garrett will be going to work with Cary, and Casey will be coming to work with me.

The wonder on the kids' faces is lovely to see. Your pictures are great, as always. Enjoy time with your family.
What a wonderful summer you're having! Hope you enjoy the family visits.
Owls are so cool--I would have loved to "meet" this one. I often hear one at night, but I've never seen it, and I'm not sure what type of owl it is.
Hi Kathy, thanks for letting me tag along . . . you always have so much going on in your life. There certainly is no moss growing under your feet, girlfriend :)
We have had family visiting, too, and enjoying every minute of it.
Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing all your fab photos.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
MORE gorgeous pictures! That lake is just beautiful.
Love the owl, too. It looks like the kids were mesmerized.
It reminds me of the barn owl who came to visit my little village school about twenty odd years ago. Our logo was an owl and the children were absolutely fascinated.
