This week, Oregon Gifts gained four new followers!  Yay, thank you, ladies!  On Mondays, I enjoy highlighting and introducing our new followers from the previous week.  This also coincides with Homemaker on a Dime's Swap Follower Linky Party (see more about that at the end of this post).

Follower #50 is Christine, from Christine's Home and Travel Adventures.  Christine lives in the Southern U.S.

Follower #51 is Court from Idaho.  Her blog is Frog 2 Fab:

Follower #52 is Micki from Kansas, and her blog is Forget Me Not:

Mickie and her daughter Brittany.

Follower #53 just came on board as I was making this post!  Please welcome Syndee Knapp of Illinois.  I'm not sure if Syndee has a blog set up yet, but on her profile, she reports that she homeschools  that she designs childrens clothing.  Welcome, Syndee!

Another new follower has signed up today, #54, Marie from Bonkers in Barnhart:

 Marie and her family.  Welcome!

Follower #55 has now arrived!  From Bend, the nearest big city to Mayberry.  Wow.  Welcome to Liana, from Liana's Lifetime:

Liana's Girl

I also want let you know about Magical Mystical Teacher.  MMT is a special education teacher who writes poems as many times a day as I take and post pictures.  On Shadow Shot Sundays, MMT leaves a poem to those she visits as her comment.  Her weekly poems are a fun thing to look forward to.  I used one of her poems in this blog post last week: If Shadows Could Talk.  When you get a moment, here is her blog link: Magical Mystical Teacher.

Now, let's talk a minute about Homemaker on a Dime's new linky party.  This is it's second week, and SJ's linky party opens at 5:00 on Monday evenings.  If you would like more followers on your blog and/or want to meet new people to follow, scoot on over here to learn the details:  "Swap Followings".  After you read how it works, click on "Home" and sign-up to participate.

Follower #56 - J and J Home:

Follower #57 - Nichole from Kansas at This Train Doesn't Stop:

Nichole and her children.

Follower #58 - Jordon at Military Spouse House:

Saturday's Catch: Sturgeon Fishing on the Columbia River

Now here is something positive to celebrate!  Our friend, Mike Carlson from Crescent was fishing for sturgeon on the Columbia River on Saturday, and look what he caught:

That fish looks heavy, Mike!

Wow, that thing is huge.  Way to go!

It looks like the other guys on the boat did great too.

For more information about sturgeon fish, you can click here for Wikipedia's link about them.  Googling Sturgeon Fishing on the Columbia River will bring up many fishing guides to choose from.

Thank you to Mike's lovely wife Anet for sharing her photos with us off of her FB page.  Love ya, Anet!

Blue Monday: Sunriver Bikes and Blue Sequin Folk Masks

Yesterday, my husband and I took our granddaughter to Sunriver for lunch and a walk around the mall.  I found these two blue photos that I thought you might enjoy for Blue Monday:

Local Business Highlight: Signature Imports, Sunriver Oregon

Yesterday, after we ate lunch at the Village Bar and Grill, Cary, Kylie and I walked around the Sunriver Mall.

Kylie and Grandpa Cary on the Sunriver Mall.

There is the coolest import shop there at the mall, and I got up my courage and asked the lady who works there if I could take some pictures of it.  She graciously said sure, and, so I did.  Before you get to the photos, I wanted you to see their mission purpose and their contact info.  After that, I hope that you enjoy the beautiful colors and products as much as I did.  Also, the prices are incredibly reasonable.

This is the neatest store, and if you only had $8.00 to spend, you could get something really nice.  $100.00 would go a long way here.
