The Grand Hyatt had some interesting art. Some was functional, and some was purely decorative.

Beautiful! Art All Over the Place would make a good coffee table book title!
Was the glass work by Dale Chihuly?
You made me want to visit the riverwalk more than ever. Great photos.
Wonderfully decorative. I like mosaics (Ancient Rome etc), but these are altogether different. I don’t know why I’ve been so slow to make the connection but there is a special link between San Antonio and Lanzarote. If you look at my husband’s blog The Lanzarote They Left Behind you may be surprised. He set it up especially for the families who went from here to found San Antonio.
What an incredible amount of tile work. Just beautiful. That is quite a town.
Oh my gosh! What beautiful "things" for lack of a better word...and me, a writer! I'm just kind of tired this evening and have been fighting a headache. I think it's sinuses, but aggravating! You take such gorgeous photos, kathy!
As always, great photos Kathy!
So many amazing photos!! I love the one of the hanging crystals. Amazing. Such beauty.
