This weekend, we went back to Toppenish, Washington for the annual Washington State Patrol Retirees Association reunion. Cary retired from the State Patrol a few years back, and it is really neat to meet the people that he used to work with.
It has been a very relaxing time. We didn't bring the dogs, and I am so glad that we didn't. It is very hot here (98*) and humid. It wouldn't have been much fun for them, but I had fun swimming in the pool yesterday.
I have the 5th wheel set up the way that I want it now, and am enjoying the fruits of my labor. The new lamps are just what we needed, and it is great to have the laptop.
I took these pictures from my cell phone last night. That silk bouquet is something that Cary won at the auction for $60. Amongst the flowers are little bottles of booze! He thought that it was a great design idea.
It has been fun getting to know Cary's old friends and my new friends better. We have been spending a lot of time with Lee and Fran. Fran is a retired teacher. She designs and sells some of her work on a website called "Teachers Pay Teachers". I'm going to look into that; I think that I might be able to sell some of my flashcards over there. Fran also gave me some tips on formatting my writing work and using Powerpoint.
Well, that is about it. I really haven't taken any pictures this weekend except for these. Here is a link the photos of the Toppenish murals that I took last year though, if you want to take a look: "CLICK HERE".
Hope that you all have a wonderful upcoming week!
Hugs,
Kathy M.

Hi Kathy, I don't know if I even knew that your husband was State Patrol. Does he know Robert Dale or Dan Dale? Robert is retired, he may have been there. We just got home . . . had a wonderful visit in LaGrande.
Your trailer is gorgeous!
Stay happy.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
That is a very comfy looking home away from home!
I wish I'd ever get a bouquet like that! :) Very nice. Hope you had a good weekend.
You've got your home on wheels looking very comfortable. Looks like a good place to curl up with a book when it's hot and humid!
Oh, your 5th wheel looks so cozy . It really is a home-away-from-home !
Isn't it wonderful to travel with Cary, meet his friends, acquaintances, and enjoy each other ?
Your 5th wheel looks comfortable and homey. What a lucky lady you are to have such a retreat!
I love the way you decorated and furnished your 5th wheel. We just bought our first one and I have been browsing websites looking for ideas!
What an inviting space! I'm an airplane and motel girl, but sometimes have thought it would be fun to take off across the United States and "sleep in." I'm leaving Tuesday for a ministerial conference to present our new curriculum and also speak to the wives.
