"My Name is Joe Deer."

I communed with nature yesterday.  I received a phone call from Cary's Mom, who lives next door.  She said, "Kathy, there is a big buck in your side yard!"  I thanked her, grabbed my camera and went outside.  Joe Deer was busy eating the weeds off of our landscape mound, and didn't mind me talking to him and taking his picture one little bit.  I even left before he did.  These are a few of the pictures that I took of Joe.

Oh, Kathy, what beautiful pictures of a gorgeous and graceful creature! It's so nice to see a buck that's alive and not mounted on someone's wall.

Love those shots of the deer, especially the one with his tongue sticking out - like he was licking his lips after eating your tasty plants. That's what they do in my yard!
