Delta Campground, Rainbow OR:

Delta Campground, right off the McKenzie Hwy near Cougar Reservoir and the community of Rainbow is very beautiful in it's lushness.  We were there on Saturday for a bit, after we said good-bye to Kari and Casey at Takoda's (I'll post about that breakfast very soon).

I Hope that you are all doing fine.  I have several more posts about our drive to the valley on Saturday, and about our grandsons spending last week with us.  I'll get them posted as soon as I can, and will be by to visit you when I can.

It was a wonderful and busy weekend, filled with lots of family love around here.  Just what we needed!

I do so love your photographs. These ones are so beautiful with the way you have caught the sunlight dappling through leaves and trees and glinting on water.

Oregon is so beautiful and green. Florida is green, too, but I don't like the vegetation as much as what is found in the West. (We have a lot of vines, palmettos, and scrubby-looking oaks.) I'll bet you are a lot cooler than we are right now, too!

No, really, I'm not jealous...

Boy Kathy, what a beautiful place. The forests of Oregon are truly awesome, and to be able to spend time there with your family is a gift !

Seeing all your pictures makes me want to post pictures on my blog, but oh it takes up so much time - how do you do it? Your photos are just gorgeous!

It looks a very peaceful and relxing sort of place to spend some time. Very green and, as you say, lush. Please tell me there were no mosquitoes to spoil the effect.

Thank you, Sally. I just point and clicked, it was all there, making it easy to photograph.

Kathy, I bet that you get homesick for our weather sometimes, since you have lived on both coasts and yours is so much hotter!

Kathy B., that is all so true. I had such a wonderful week/weekend with loved ones and it was hard to go say goodbye and go back to work yesterday.

Lynn, I think it is easier to post the pictures than to write stuff! I guess the time that takes the longest is the editing of the photos, but you should sometimes because your pictures rock.

Nell, there are probably lots of skiters in June, but we weren't bothered by any during our short time there on Saturday.

Did I really miss that many of your posts? Shame on me! I'm reading backwards now and I wasn't aware of having missed that much. I like the wooden bridge!
