I took these photos earlier this week. Is this snow ever going to go away? Some day it has to leave. At least is melted now, and looking at some of your weather, I realize that things could be much worse.
As always, you can click on any photo to enlarge it. Enjoy your day, and Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

WELCOME THE SHADOWS
Welcome the shadows surrounding your life,
Treat them as lover or husband or wife;
Welcome them in as you would one who’s dear;
Hug them, embrace them without any fear;
Honor, respect them, and give them their due,
For shadow and light are both parts of you.
If you miss a day, you miss a lot! Don't miss out on the news ... Please click here to go to my home page and see what is happening in Mayberry today. |

Well, your shadow shots are terrific, but I know you're tired of the snow!! I know I'm tired of the chill, damp, rainy, windy weather that we're still having in Seattle!! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm!

I am enjoying looking at all of your photos Kathy- these snow shots are giving me the shivers...I hope we are through with all that till next year here in Ar. I'm going to follow you as soon as I find your follow button!
We do have a beautiful state, full of creative people. I enjoy running into my fellow Oregonians on the blogosphere.
Wonderful shadows on the snow.
Pretty shadows!
Will you visit my entry, pretty please?
Perhaps the snow is gone now. For your sake, I certainly hope so! I can't imagine having snow this late in the season!

The snow does seem to hanging around a bit long. Beautiful photos.
A wonderful play of shadow patterns in the snow! beautiful photos!
whoa, that seems a lot of snow for this time of year, but I'm finding that it's a spring that is getting off to a slow start here too. I love your photos, especially that bottom one, and the collage. the shadows on the pristine snow are gorgeous. I guess we just have to embrace what we're given and find the beauty in it all. have a great weekend Kathy.
Really nice shadow shots. You may be sick of snow, but it sure makes for lovely views.
What ever you did worked, it went much quicker this time. Thanks.
Beautiful shadow shots!
My shadow post, have a good night!
Holy cow, I cannot believe you STILL have snow. But, then again, you are probably used to it, living where you are. If you didn't like it, you wouldn't be living there! But you are sure able to get beautiful photos, so that's one plus about snow! Have a good Sunday, Kathy!
Best,
Gloria
Snow snow everywhere! Not a great start to spring! Hey but you'll probably miss it when it's all gone. Maybe? Just a little? Or not! ;) I do love the snowy shadow photos! I hope you have a sunny and warmer week ahead.
PS - Those Magical Mytstical Teacher poems are just the best!
Oh boy....am I ever glad I don't have to contend with that nasty white stuff any more. Tho beautiful in photos...as your photos are...I can't picture myself there. Enjoyed the collage. And if it doesn't disappear soon...there's always Hootin' Anni's in South Texas where our temps are in the 80s!!

It's always a delight to have you visit with me...thanks for stopping by yesterday while I was out all day. Hope your Sunday treats you well.
I think snow makes a wonderful "canvas" for shadows!
I'm late this week (EW!) so thought I'd better send you my link:

Very pretty shots. I will try to send some warmth up your way! :)
Wow, you did get lots of snow last week--at least you got some pretty photos from it. It is getting nice and warm here--80's-- but that darn Kansas wind is blowing like crazy--I could do without that and be much happier. Oh well, you take what you get!! Mickie :)
