"Theatre de la Mode" at The Maryhill Museum, Maryhill WA:

Here are the pictures that I took of the Theatre de la Mode display at the Maryhill Museum in September.  The "Theatre of Fashion" area was beautiful and fascinating.  The structures and costumes were designed in Paris after WWII.  These miniatures were the beginning of revitalizing the fashion industry, and they helped to also raise relief funds.

It was dark in there, and you couldn't use a flash, but I used my old standby, Advanced Sports Shooting.  I really like how these came out, moody and rich.  You can click on any photo to enlarge for better viewing.

I hope that you enjoyed this post.  It just goes to show you that you just never know what you are going to find hidden in a museum.  If you would like to know more, here is the Wikipedia Link.

Enjoy your week!

Hugs,

Kathy M.

Great photos! So many of these would make great book covers, and would've been awesome for Book Blurb Friday. You do so much cool stuff, Kathy.

Thank you, Lisa! They would have been neat for BBF, wouldn't they. I miss that. I went through and reread some of my entries and that was fun. My writing wasn't very good, but some of the ideas were okay. Thank you for all of your hard work on that.

Hugs,

Kathy M.
