"The Nativity"  ... The Christmas story from the Bible, beautifully illustrated by Julie Vivas:

I got an early Christmas gift in the mail this week ... I was the lucky winner of these three wonderful books from Lesa and her friends over at Baja Greenawalts Cozy Book Nook.  Thank you, ladies, I love my new books!

Here is wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Christmas weekend, from my Best Friend Husband, Cary, and me.  Heart ya!

I'm very, very late, but I hope that you and your family had a truly magical Christmas and I hope that 2012 is filled with many blessings and joys for you all.

I love going to Midnight Mass at my church. They darken the whole place except for a few candles and as they process the Baby Jesus to the manger on the altar, they light each section. At the last, the entire altar is lit and it is just so beautiful.
