Mini Update:

 * Jimmy and Sam had their baby today and he is a cutie.  After all of that hard work of being born, he came out smiling!  Meet little J.C.  (this picture was taken during the first 45 minutes after birth):

* Cary and I had a fun first camping trip in our new trailer, and I'll begin posting pictures about our excursion in the morning.

* As I was catching up on what I missed when I was gone, I came across a hilarious post from Jenny the Bloggess; if you want a belly chuckle:  "The Man Deserves a Damn Medal"

Also, I would like to welcome my newest follower, Connie, from over at Crafty Home Cottage.  And, my friend Jack, husband to Lisa from over at  Big Yellow Ric Rac (they are the awesome couple who have just enlarged their family by adopting three children all at one time!) now has his own blog:  "Speaking the Truth".

See ya in the morning,

Kathy M.

Hi Kathy, I am delighted to have you as a follower. It just tickles me pink to make a new friend. I am also looking forward to becoming great blogging buddies.

I spend my 4th of July in LaGrande, Oregon. My daughter just got accepted into their three year nursing program at the university. So we were checking out the town all week and getting her ready to move into her new home. It's a little 1913 two bedroom cottage, that needed a lot of cleaning. LaGrande is a lovely little town, filled with so many warm and friendly people. I hope that your 4th was wonderful . . . your new trailer is a beauty. Have a great week, Connie :)

That is one alert little newborn! You'd better look out. Congratulations to the family.

Thanks, Connie! I don't know very much about LaGrande, Eastern Oregon is our unexplored territory.

Thank you, Patti! We had a nice time and it wasn't too hot out. I guess that we are going to get some storms here this week.

Hi Wendy, I think you are right! Isn't he a cutie?
