Welcome to the online diary of a Central Oregon Grandmother (me) who is busy celebrating the positive portions of her everyday life ... along with her best friend husband (Cary). It is quite an eclectic diary and I try to do my best to incorporate a little bit of history into many of my posts. Your visit to our piece of American Pie is greatly appreciated. This chatty Kathy posts frequently, so coming back to visit often is highly encouraged.
Hello, Friends! Thank you so much for stopping by. I really hope that you will enjoy your visit. I had to adjust my comment settings recently due to daily spam, so I am not currently accepting comments from anonymous people. Please email me at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com if you are unable to leave a comment on here. Also, I write back through email when I can. Thank you!

There are approximately 500 photos in these slide shows. They are of the players, the fans, our family and everybody/everything that caught my eye. They are in chronological order. No names are on the pictures, even if I do know who people were.
As time permits, I will also be writing blog posts about my experience as a spectator. Since I still have a lot to learn about football and this is not a sports blog, I'll write some human interest stories as seen through my eyes. That said, Tyler Matthews, YOU ROCK!!!!

I have to say oooh, ahhhh, wow! Those pictures are gorgeous. What an amazing place to see.
Kathy--I am dead serious: Have you ever considered offering your photos for sale?
Some of your work is as good or better than the work I see on professionally-done post cards. You have such a gift.
But perhaps you already have an etsy site or a place on your blog where your photography is on sale, and I've missed it?
Think about it.
The ethereal quality--on the first one and another one or two of them on this post--is incredible.
Kathy--I can't ever send a "live mail" email, so I'm stuck writing you this way as well.
Do you know how to do Paypal? (I don't but I figure I'm way behind everyone else.) If not, couldn't people pay you for the prints by sending you a check?
On your blog, you could have a "gallery" of your prints for sale. Check out how much color prints would be, figure out what the postage would be, and add a nice profit. (You might even check out some shops and see how much their prints are selling for.)
It's just a suggestion....
Thank you, Sioux ... I have looked into Etsy before but never got it figured out. I like your gallery idea! I appreciate your confidence and encouragement. We were thinking about taking prints on the road in our 5th wheel, and we do have a friend who makes frames.

I love the Oregon coast, and my husband & I vacation there frequently. We're going to have to visit this spot, it is beautiful. ( pretty much all of the Oregon coast is awesome)Love the pictures.
Oh that looks absolutely beautiful. I have never visited the West Coast but later this year I hope to be visiting San Francisco and I look forward to seeing such wonderful sights first hand.
WOW, absolutely beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your photos - thank you for sharing :)
Hugs,
Stephanie
Thank you, everybody!! I am reworking some of my older photos, and reorganizing them right now. Glad that you enjoy these.

Glorious photos of a glorious place. I had to stop accepting anonymous comments on my blog too, due to the same reasons you mention.
