Blog Star Artist: Chrisopher C.

My friend Patty used to live next door to us in Eugene when my girls were babies.  I think that she was around 10 when I first met her.  Patty and her family watched the girls a lot; they called Kari and Kristin their puppies.  Now, Patty is all grown up with three kids of her own, including her son Christopher, age 6.

We reconnected on Facebook last year, and these are some photos that Patty posted on there of Christopher's artwork.  You can click to enlarge them.

Christopher and Patty

Christopher is a talented artist.  Big time.

Wow.  You are amazing, Christopher.  We know that you worked very hard on making these pictures, and we are very proud of you!  So, I have made you an official blog star.  You give me something very positive to celebrate on here.

Keep up the great work!

Wow. He really is talented. I'm limited to stick figures, so I'm always blown away by people with real talent for drawing; this little boy has a gift.

Isn't his work great? I'm like you ... drawing is not my strength.

Patty said that he has just recently got his confidence up to show her his work. He was shy before. Maybe we are all like that about our creative work, at first. You can tell that Chris is talented, but he puts hours into his pictures. What a sweetie!
