Well, I have been working on this blog for 3 hours and really have nothing to show for it.  I just thought that I might as well just write something and say hello to you guys, since my "cool" stuff didn't work out.

I made an "Oregon Cloud" movie by putting together around 150 of my cloud photos when I first got up.  Then I wanted to add sound to it.  I couldn't find the "spa music" that I was after right away, so I had to let that part go.  Then I couldn't post the soundless movie where I wanted to, at the top, like a slideshow.  Then I tried to put some love song music on here as a play list, but even though I embedded a live radio stream, it failed to play.

I feel as if I am being blocked.  I am learning new stuff, but have mastered none of it.  Hells bells.  So, I ended up just adjusting my Pandora playlist and have been enjoying listening to that, but only the dogs and I can hear it.  A small party of three.  That is kind of how my week has been ... in real life and on my blog.  One step forward, three steps backward.  I made two whole posts this week that I couldn't end up using, not even counting this morning's stuff.

Oh, well.  It is Friday, a nice day, and we are staying home instead of traveling as we had planned.  We will try our best to listen to Tyler's football came online this evening.  That will be fun.  We will visit with our parents, and maybe take Cary's Mom and my Dad out to dinner sometime this weekend.  I should also clean up our trailer, and take all of the food out, since it got down to 26* or so last night, and I don't want those cans to freeze and bust wide open.  That would be pretty yucky, don't you think?

I will try my best to light a candle at noon tomorrow, Saturday, 9/11.  Lots of people will be doing that worldwide, saying a prayer for our country, the people we lost and for our future.

And for now, I need to get off of this computer and get on to some other things.  Like taking a shower, doing the dishes, some housework and maybe later on get back to re-reading "The Hundred Secret Senses" by Amy Tan.  Oh, how I love that book.

Have a wonderful weekend, everybody, take care and God bless!

Kathy

P.S. - I took the picture above yesterday from the Mayberry Bi-Mart parking lot.  The clouds were were really beautiful yesterday.

I've had a full three weeks like that (forward step, 3 back) and haven't done much writing or blog reading at all. The time is taken up with so much other stuff right now. Very frustrating!

You're on a learning curve, my dear Energizer Bunny, but I have faith in you. You'll get it all figured out!

Oh my gosh, Lisa ... I know how frustrating that is. Three weeks! Well, you must be getting a lot done in other areas. You have a lot of people still at home, and that always keeps a person busy.

I love it when you call me the Energizer Bunny, it helps me to see that I do get things done, even when I don't feel like I am accomplishing much. Yesterday I felt like a slug, but I did do a blog post, an art project, made my bed, vacuumed and read my book...and watched the ORE/TN game. At least I did do was something.
